What you’ll achieve

We're looking for a Security Automation Engineer to help build the next generation of secure, automated systems. In this role, you'll be transforming how we manage security, by designing and implementing scalable automation that removes manual bottlenecks, increases efficiency, and strengthens our overall security posture. You'll have the opportunity to build AI solutions to enhance threat detection, automate decision-making, and improve the accuracy and efficiency of security responses. Your work will help drive smarter, faster, and more proactive security outcomes, all powered by code.

You will:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable systems and tools to automate complex security tasks across cloud and on-prem environments.

• Build and optimize security workflows, pipelines, and orchestration processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, SecOps, IT, and Developers) to gather requirements and embed security capabilities into core business and engineering workflows.

• Advocate for security best practices and automation across the organization, serving as a thought leader and mentor within the engineering team. • Maintain comprehensive documentation including architecture diagrams, runbooks, playbooks, and automation logic. Troubleshoot and optimize infrastructure-ascode (IaC) and configuration management tools such as Ansible across Linux and Windows environments

Essential Requirements

• Solid hands-on experience with scripting and programming using TypeScript/Node.js, Python, PowerShell, and Bash

• Comfortable building modern, responsive interfaces with Angular or React

• Well-versed in using Elasticsearch and Kibana to explore data and create insightful visualizations.

• Experience creating RESTful APIs and exposure to GraphQL for flexible data access

• Experience and familiarity with tools and technologies like Kubernetes, CSPs (e.g., Azure, AWS), Automation tools (Power Automate, ServiceNow), Configuration as Code, Policy as Code, and Infrastructure as Code.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience with Go, Java, and secure coding practices across multiple language ecosystems.

• Experience building or integrating with AI-based platforms, LLM-driven agents, or agentic security assistants
