What you’ll achieve

As a Senior Software Engineer you will be responsible for developing Dell Secure OS and its various components. You will work with dev team, automation team, QA team, architects, dependent product teams, vendors, 3rd party, security team, innovation team and product support team

You will:

· implement the customer needs through architects inputs

· implement innovative ideas that are inline with Dell’s roadmap and strategy

· work OS binary size optimization and improve the performance of boot time, app launch time, etc.,

· Develop drivers, optimize performance, implement new features.

· Debug kernel and other system components.

Essential Requirements

· Good Development experience from Product development background

· Good Knowledge on Java, Python and C++

· Sound Knowledge on operating systems concepts

· good to have Cloud computing, Virtualization (VDI solutions like ICA, RDP and VMWare)

Desirable Requirements

· Engineering Degree with 3 - 6 years of relevant experience, graphics, network, audio drivers.

· Advantageous to have working knowledge on GenAI .Contribution and hands on expertise into Atlassian tools like Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence etc., GIT, TDD, CI/CD

· Good to have knowledge of Security, threat modelling, static scans, vulnerabilities and other SDL controls.
