What you’ll achieve
Take on a high-impact, strategically focused role as Team Lead, APJ Global Alliances Workplace Solutions. As an individual contributor, you will be the catalyst behind strategic business growth and major initiatives across Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) within the Global Alliances segment. This position is dedicated to Workplace Solutions—including client PCs, peripherals, and associated services—where you will act as a subject matter expert, lead regional go-to-market strategies, and provide functional support to peers and extended teams. Your expertise and influence will accelerate deal wins, elevate solution adoption, and maximize KPI delivery, all while fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.

You will:

  • Responsible to serve as the APJ subject matter expert for Workplace Solutions (PCs, peripherals, services) within Global Alliances, providing functional management, strategy, and best practice guidance to team members across the region. Drive and shape strategic Workplace Solutions business initiatives, leveraging deep knowledge of workplace technology trends, end-user computing, and enterprise customer needs.

  • Collaborate closely with sales specialists and alliance colleagues to identify, qualify, and help secure high-value opportunities—supporting complex pursuits, influencing RFPs (local and global), and helping craft winning solutions. Act as a deal catalyst for large, strategic workplace opportunities: support key sales engagements, participate in account/regional planning, and marshal resources to advance pursuits.

  • Analyze sales performance data across APJ, track progress against Workplace Solutions KPIs (pipeline, revenue, margin, conversion, ROI), and propose actionable plans to overcome gaps and strengthen business outcomes. Enable the broader APJ sales and alliance teams with workplace solution expertise, tools, and content—delivering solution sales enablement, fostering best practice adoption, and encouraging a collaborative, competitive culture.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote Workplace Solutions and drive alignment on customer requirements, solution positioning, and market responses. Support change management and continuous improvement by identifying regional growth opportunities, market intelligence, and competitive insights relevant to Workplace Solutions in APJ.

  • Prepare and present business performance updates, actionable insights, and recommendations to APJ and global management teams, contributing to the overall strategic direction.

Essential Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in technology solutions sales, business development, or alliance management, with a strong emphasis on Workplace, PC, peripherals, and services. Proven expertise in end-user computing, workplace transformation, and multi-product Workplace Solutions selling, preferably within Global or Enterprise Alliance accounts in APJ. Willingness to travel across APJ and internationally as needed (up to 50%).

  • Extensive experience supporting or drive the pursuit and structuring of complex Workplace Solutions deals, including RFPs, commercial negotiation, and competitive positioning.

  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies and initiatives as an individual contributor, working cross-functionally to drive business results. Outstanding communication, influence, and stakeholder engagement skills—comfortable collaborating with regional and global colleagues, end customers, and partners at all levels.

  • Analytical and data-driven approach for business planning, performance tracking, and issue resolution. Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills suited for a dynamic, multicultural APJ environment.


Desirable Requirements

  • Recognized certifications or advanced training in workplace/client solutions, solution sales, or alliance engagement (preferred)

  • Bachelor's degree in business, IT, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred). Proficiency in English is essential; other APJ regional languages are a plus
