What you will achieve

As a Principal Senior Software Engineer on our Security Development team, you will be responsible for developing and integrating sophisticated systems with a focus on building and integrating security-based tools.

You will

• Work with system and software architects on feature definitions, requirements, and behavior specifications.

• Contribute to the design and architecture of high-quality, complex application software. Debug complex system software issues using analyzers and other hardware debug tools.

• Keep the team up to date with the latest trend in code development lifecycle.

Essential Requirements

• BSEE, BSCE, BSCS or related degree, understanding the principles of software design and programming

• Proficiency in Python, Django, and PostgreSQL; Strong JavaScript skills, including Node.js and vanilla JavaScript for client-side development; Low-level C programming experience

• Ability to adapt to varying coding styles (procedural and object-oriented programming)

• Familiarity with software security concepts, including code signing, PKI, and encryption

• Knowledge of the Windows API

Desirable Requirements

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, as well as with using the Atlassian suite of tools and Security Development Lifecycle (SDL), including threat modeling, Familiarity with CI/CD best practices, automation frameworks (Jenkins, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, Azure etc.).

• Inclination toward hands-on, low-dependency development approaches
