​National Nutanix Solution Principal

SUMMARY
Provides technical leadership and direction to customers and internal staff in the analysis, design, and development of Nutanix-based solutions. Ensures that all solutions align directly with customers’ strategic business plans and technological requirements, delivering innovation and value through Nutanix technologies.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provides in-depth Nutanix expertise to the sales organization by assisting with the selection, implementation, and development of competitive, enterprise-grade Nutanix product and service applications and solutions.
  • Delivers technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase Nutanix product capabilities, application possibilities, and integration approaches to technical stakeholders, buyers, and decision makers.
  • Prepares detailed product specifications and solution architectures for Nutanix platforms, supporting the sales of complex solutions focused on automation, hybrid cloud, and containerized environments.
  • Defines project scope and coordinates the engagement of internal Nutanix specialists and cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless collaboration across pre-sales, delivery, and support departments.
  • Partners with account teams to identify business challenges, creates demand for Nutanix solutions, and advises on strategies for adopting open-source technologies within enterprise environments.

What you’ll achieve

As an Solution Principal, you will provide pre-sales technical support to our field sales teams, helping to define the overall Dell Technologies solution for our customers using the full range of company products and services.

Essential Requirements

  • Demonstrated selling experience, hands-on implementation, or architecture experience with Nutanix products, gained at a vendor, partner, service provider, or customer environment.
  • Ability to build relationships and engage effectively with key customer decision makers at multiple levels, including CIOs, enterprise architects, cloud/infrastructure teams, application owners, and DevOps stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of open-source principles, hybrid cloud, DevSecOps, security, and application modernization as enabled by Nutanix solutions.
  • Familiarity with IT frameworks such as ITIL or TOGAF, and a solid grasp of multi-cloud architecture, security best practices, and automation solutions.

Desirable Requirements

•Senior-level sales engineer with expertise in sophisticated products and services offerings.

•12+ years of field sales experience or related experience in a relationship selling role with a bachelor’s degree.

Compensation-

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The targeted compensation range for this position is $226,100 - 282,000, combined base salary and commission.
