Senior Systems Engineer

What you’ll achieve

s a Sales Engineer, you will be key partner of a customer facing pre-sales teamYou will provide pre-sales guidance on End User Computing Solutions with our field sales teams, helping to define and present the overall Dell Technologies value to our customers using the full range of the Dell client portfolio.


You will:
• Collaborate on account plans with regional sales team 

Assist customers with product evaluations and proof of concepts and work to shorten the sales cycle by overcoming common technical objections

• Share best practices and guidance on Dell Technologies Client Solutions Portfolio

• Deliver product demonstrations to enable customer’s success leveraging Dell Client Technologies

Supportive ofcustomer engagements via onsite and/or virtual meetings (some travel required)

Essential Requirements

Experience in Information Technology areas comprising any of the following: 

Systems Administration/Integration, Professional Services/Consulting, Hands-on experience with End-User environments including deploying desktops, building servers, or 4+ years of technical business-related pre-sales experience.

Ability to prioritize and balance your schedule in a flexible work environment


Desirable Requirements

• Experience with Citrix, VMware Horizon, Microsoft Server OS 2012/2016, or Windows 10/11 experience (Technical Certification a plus)

• Systems Management experience

•Advanced experience in a relationship selling role

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The Total Target Compensation range for this position is $165,000 - 205,000, which includes base salary and commissions.
