What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Sales Director, you’ll lead a team of Channel Managers and oversee strategic partner relationships. You’ll design and execute channel programs that drive growth, customer satisfaction, and market expansion.

You will:

  • Leads Strategic Direction: Sets and drives the organization’s strategic and operational goals.

  • Builds High-Performing Teams: Oversees staffing, career development, and performance management.

  • Manages Channel Ecosystem: Maintains relationships with existing partners and identifies new distribution opportunities.

  • Drives Partner Collaboration: Develops joint sales strategies and evaluates mutually beneficial business opportunities.

  • Aligns Market Needs: Channels partner feedback to influence product alignment and market responsiveness.

  • Optimizes Sales Execution: Coordinates cross-functional teams and ensures service levels are met across channel operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Defines and drives vision, strategy, and direction across multiple business functions with broad operational latitude.

  • Policy & Executive Collaboration: Implements company-wide policies and provides strategic input to executive leadership.

  • Sales Oversight: Leads regional sales operations, ensuring attainment of revenue goals across geographic territories or key accounts.

  • Market & Territory Planning: Develops territory plans and contributes to both strategic and tactical planning to expand market presence.

  • Cross-Functional Influence: Navigates abstract challenges across departments, aligning initiatives with company objectives and market dynamics.

  • Analytical Foresight: Evaluates complex variables to anticipate market shifts and guide long-term business positioning.

Essential Requirements

  • 18+ years of related experience in a professional role.

  • Generally requires 10+ years diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization and people motivation skill (or equivalent experience).


Desirable Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree; with a Masters Degree preferred.

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The Total Target Compensation range for this position is $380,000 - 486,150, which includes base salary and commissions.
