What you’ll achieve
As an IT Principal Software Engineer, you will deliver products and improvements for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, you will craft and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics — all with the most sophisticated technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and partnerships

You will:

• Develop and manage Golang-based APIs, Operators, and CLI tools for automation and upgrades

• Collaborate with platform engineers and application stakeholders to design and implement scalable Kubernetes solutions, incorporating RBAC, storage management, ingress configurations, HPA, Helm, and custom CRDs.

• Build, upgrade, and deploy containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Implement and manage GitLab-based workflows, optimizing CI/CD pipelines and secrets management.

Essential Requirements

• 8+ Yrs of experience in software development methodologies

• Proven experience with Golang development (API, CLI, Operators).

• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes deployment & management.

• Hands-on experience with Docker, GitLab CI/CD, TLS certificates, DNS configurations, and system security.

• Strong understanding of Observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus) and Application Performance tuning.

Desirable Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science

• Exposure to other programming languages like JAVA or other similar programming languages
