What you’ll achieve

We’re looking for a seasoned and visionary Senior Data Engineer with over 12 years of experience in designing, optimizing, and scaling enterprise-grade data systems. This role demands deep expertise in Oracle PL/SQL development and performance tuning, along with hands-on experience in ETL pipelines, Python scripting, NoSQL databases like Elasticsearch, and implementing AI-driven solutions. You’ll be instrumental in shaping our data architecture, driving innovation in data engineering practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver intelligent, data-powered products.

You will:

• Design, develop, and optimize complex Oracle PL/SQL procedures, packages, and triggers for high-performance data operations

• Lead performance tuning initiatives to ensure efficient query execution and database scalability

• Build and maintain robust ETL pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from diverse sources

• Develop data processing scripts and automation tools using Python. Build and maintain NoSQL databases, particularly Elasticsearch, for high-volume, real-time data indexing and retrieval

• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all systems. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices in data engineering

Essential Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in data engineering, database development, or related roles. Expert-level proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL development and performance tuning

• Deep understanding of Oracle audit logs and diagnostic reports like AWR to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks

• Strong experience with ETL frameworks and data integration tools like Streamsets, KAFKA, GoldenGate

• Advanced knowledge of Python for data processing and automation

• Deep understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and distributed systems

Desirable Requirements

• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases, especially Elasticsearch. Experience in implementing AI/ML solutions in production environments.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for data workflows
