What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Software Engineering Manager, you will lead the activities of a software development function for a deep stack software application and new storage products. You will work with internal and external partners on the analysis, design, programming, debugging and modification of computer programs

You will:

• Lead and deliver on the strategic and operational objectives of their organization

• Active engagement in Scrum Events; collaborates with the team in backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, standups, and retrospectives. Delivers products within budget, schedule, and quality guidelines

• Drive idea generation for new software products or the next version of an existing product

• Lead global teams and engage in Talent mobility and Talent development

Essential Requirements

• 12 to 15 years of relevant experience in across all phases of the software development lifecycle: feasibility analysis, design, implementation, integration, testing, and delivery.

• Strong technical experience in one or more of the following: Kubernetes, Linux, Distributed Systems, Storage Subsystems, File System, RAID, SCSI/ISCSI

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages: C, Python, or Go, along with practical experience using Git for version control and JIRA for issue tracking.

• Manages the organization’s staffing needs, guides the career development, and drives performance and pay discussions of team members

Desirable Requirements

• 4 -5 years managerial experience & background in the storage domain, including SAN, NAS, FCOE, Disk Drivers, Firmware/BIOS, and virtualization technologies.

• Experience developing software for software-defined infrastructure, including hybrid cloud, on-premises, and multi-cloud environments.
