Regional HR Generalist - Dell Technologies Netherlands
SUMMARY
You will hold a central role on the Amsterdam site and will act as lead human resources generalist, engaging with local and remote business leaders from different business groups such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, Services, Business operations and more.
Responsible for development, implementation, administration and operation of high-value quality human resources programs, practices and procedures to all levels of team members. Assists in the integration of complex business factors to build business capability, develop leaders and succession plan, and drive business change efforts. Administers programs designed to establish and maintain effective team member relations through the uniform and equitable application of policies and procedures.
Acts as a key liaison for Workers’ Council consultations and relationship management, ensuring collaborative and compliant engagement with employee representatives.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Proactively providing strategic HR partnership to all Dell Technologies Netherlands business groups and participate in the site senior management team
- Leads Workers’ Council consultations and maintains constructive relationships with employee representatives to support organizational goals and compliance
- Drives proactive relationship management across all levels of the organization to foster trust, collaboration, and engagement
- Understands all applicable governmental regulations and advocates compliance requirements
- Responsible for coordinating and administering activities in several human resources functions such as employment, labor relations, compensation, learning and organization development, diversity, records, benefits and team member services
- Counsels team members concerning work-related problems
- Reviews and explains HR policies and programs to the organization assigned and assists with the rollout of updated or new HR programs and initiatives
KNOWLEDGE & APPLICATION
- Applies expert understanding of Workers’ Council frameworks and relationship dynamics to ensure effective collaboration and compliance
- Leverages relationship management skills to navigate complex organizational contexts and foster alignment across stakeholders
- Exhibits advanced wide-ranging experience, using in-depth professional knowledge, acumen, concepts and company objectives to develop and resolve complex models and procedures
- Provides solutions to issues in creative and effective ways
- Understands the interrelationships of different disciplines
- Directs the application of existing principles and guides development of new policies and ideas
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- You have worked as HR Generalist for a min. of 8 years in a corporate (matrix and complex), preferably international environment and know the profession inside out
- You speak Dutch and English on professional working proficiency
- Expert in local employment and labor law and M&A workforce management
- Very good communication skills, Data & Digital Mindset, strong consulting and coaching skills, capability of supporting timely and exhibiting sound/accurate judgment, leveraging teams to get things done
