Consumer Integrated Planning – India + ROAP Long Range Planning, Sr. Consultant
The Global Consumer Strategy & Integrated Planning team is responsible for orchestrating and optimizing the end-to-end business and planning rhythms across the Consumer organization.
The India + Rest of Asia Pacific (ROAP) Long Range Planning Lead is responsible for India and ROAP consumer markets and drives cross-functional alignment and accountability to deliver on key business outcomes, including revenue growth, margin expansion, market share, and customer engagement, with a focus on the longer-term strategy, planning for 12-24 months out. This person will also be the team lead for India and Rest of AP strategy and planning, providing guidance, oversight and direction to the Cycle Planners, and be the single point of accountability for the mid to long term strategy and planning outputs.
This role requires a strategic operator with a strong command of cross-functional business planning, deep understanding of the regional consumer dynamics, and the ability to influence stakeholders and senior leaders to deliver synchronized, insight-driven, action-oriented plans.
You will:
- Deliver Route to Market long-term strategy to achieve financial goals: gather retailer feedback, analyze Dell.com performance, and develop RTM strategy
- Develop perspective on key buying moments and how to position the portfolio based on trends and sales data
- Model opportunities for volume growth in Consumer RTMs and translate into growth ambition to inform AOP
- Define big bets related to key themes for success
- Provide input to PLMs / PG (price range, target margin, likely config) to guide product roadmap
- Define country-level lead vs. participate strategy and work cross-functionally to identify ‘must have’ slots, merchandising needs, and site enhancements
- Provide guidance and oversight to India and ROAP cycle planners, helping to remove obstacles and ensure strategic continuity across mid to long term plans

Essential Requirements

Essential Requirements:
- MBA or advanced degree in Business, Operations, or a related field with 15-18 years of experience in business operations, planning, or GTM strategy within a consumer or technology driven organization
- Proven track record of leading planning processes across global and matrixed organizations
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment
- Deep understanding of retail and e-commerce dynamics, seasonal demand cycles, and regional market nuances
- Strong strategic and analytical capabilities with a bias for action and results
Desirable Requirements
- Experience in managing large-scale planning across multiple geographies and product lines
- Expertise in high-volume retail and promotional cycles
