Responsible for building solutions spanning the entire server, storage, networking, and associated product lines, they get to know their portfolio inside and out. Our Outside Sales teams rely on them for technical advice during the sales process. They directly advise customers on everything from product features and configurations, through to pricing and availability.
Join us as a Data Center Account Executive on our Outside Federal Sales team in either Remote MA or Remote CO, primarily selling Dell solutions through and to RTX.
What you’ll achieve
As a Data Center Account Executive, you will proactively identify and solve customer business needs by providing subject matter expertise and creating solutions using Dell’s products and services.
You will:
- Manage relationships with senior level technical personnel and decision makers
- Demonstrate the value of Dell to advance customer business objectives
- Provide insight and thought leadership to customers concerning applicability of highly complex products and services
- Act as a technical resource for the sales organization to help meet and exceed their objectives
- Help the Dell RTX sell-to team, as well as multiple Dept of Defense and US Governmental Civilian Agency account teams, position and sell solutions both through RTX and to end-user customers across the wide variety of RTX’s customer base,

Essential Requirements
- Advanced sales and technical knowledge of the Dell Infrastructure Solutions Group products, partners, and families of technologies
- Excellent understanding of DOD mission use cases and how to appropriately position Dell to enhance this use cases
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills to communicate with customers, support personnel and leadership
- US DOD security clearance (TS preferred, minimum SECRET)
Desirable Requirements
- 8+ years of related experience in a relationship selling role
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge-
- Experience selling solutions to and through larger Federal System Integrators
Compensation
Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The Total Target Compensation range for this position is $266,050 - $344,300, which includes base salary and commissions.
