The security of customers’ data and systems is paramount to Dell Technologies. Our Product and Application Security team designs and develops software and techniques to minimize security risks within our products. As experts at the forefront of security, we undertake vulnerability response handling, implement the secure development lifecycle, coordinate security certifications, and develop standard software security components and toolkits. As well as ensuring the authenticity and integrity of the product code during product development, we mitigate risks of sourcing and delivery of counterfeit or maliciously tainted components in our products.

We seek a Technical Program Manager to join the Dell Product and Application Security Team. This position is intended to manage the  security training curriculum and security champion program. This last program helps to ensure the engineering  and development teams are trained on security controls while creating secure code  and secure products.

What you’ll achieve
As a Technical Program Management Advisor, you will drive the development and implementation of new and exciting products and services. Working closely with sales, customer service, partners, customers and other technical support groups in cross-functional teams, you will manage the entire lifecycle of highly complex, high risk projects. From design to delivery.

You will:

• Supports Security Training Programs to track, manage and report security-related new requests and issues effectively. Supporting our Business Units by advocating for Dell Product Security Practices and helping to build that product security mindset

• Design and support the security champion program strategies and associated deliverables building robust relationships with key stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and deliver projects

• Develop strategy & high-quality research-based resources and training on a timely mission-aligned to address the needs of our security training and champion programs

• Identifies opportunities and executes projects to the successful outcome; works with business leaders as sponsors and process owners to realize the goals of projects identifying the respective dependencies.

• Identifies, escalates, and ensures resolution of issues impacting the successful execution of programs. Drives consistency and standardization of defined process

• Metric definition to drive the training programs effectively, including reports creation or improvements to existing reports.

• Support with User troubleshooting while interacting with our security training. 

• Develop the roadmap for the relevant programs and update stakeholders on status (quarterly / monthly).

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Undergraduate with a concentration in training programs and learning curriculums creation. Desirable Cybersecurity experience

• 7+ years of related experience, working in the adoption of training programs from the  design through the launching phase, as well as experience with educational products/learning platforms such as, Storyline, SABA, Skillsoft, PowerBI.

• Strong project management skills (e.g., planning, organizing, directing, monitoring, and reporting on project activities)

• Ability to prioritize projects, tasks, and deliverables and manage dynamic priorities; ability to drive moderately complex, cross-organizational initiatives through the influencing of and negotiation with stakeholders who at times may hold competing priorities

• Problem-solving and analytical skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills, results-driven and accountability-minded.
