What you’ll achieve
You will work within PowerStore Performance Engineering to support development of new platforms, features, and algorithms. As a Senior Performance Engineer, you will be responsible for detailed analysis of performance results and communication of their findings to a variety of internal customers including software developers and engineering leadership.
You will:
Work independently in a complex lab environment including management of Server and Storage configurations
Analyze performance test results and work with development teams to address findings
Support development of new platforms, features, and algorithms
Design and execute focused lab experiments in a scientific manner
Participate in discussions surrounding current performance results and potential improvements to current design of algorithms

Essential Requirements
Proficiency in concepts of computing performance
Experience working with Linux and ESXi
Ability to develop automated tests in Python
Understanding of RMF storage response time components and storage network administration
Experience with Agile development methodology as a Scrum Team member
Desirable Requirements
2-4 years of industry experience or equivalent
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
Compensation
Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $114,750 - $148,500.
