They use their insight to identify and create new opportunities – and to build the business development strategies that underpin successful sales. What you’ll achieve
As an Account Executive, you will identify and develop new strategic opportunities with existing clients. You will develop strong relationships with key customer contacts at all levels of the business to gain an understanding of key business drivers.
You will:
Build and maintain strong relationships with Government & PSU clients. Identify new business opportunities and generate avenues within the Defense sector to develop and execute strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue growth.
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities. Attend industry events, trade shows, and defense exhibitions to network and generate contacts. Explore new markets and partnerships within the defense ecosystem.
Prepare and submit RFPs/RFIs for defense procurement agencies. Drive product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers. Negotiate Designs, Contracts and close deals with defence clients.
Understand wireless communication, security solutions, or defense technology (depending on the company’s offerings). Work closely with engineering teams to align solutions with customer needs.
Willingness to travel locally and internationally for business development. Conduct face-to-face meetings with defense customers to understand their requirements.

Essential Requirements
10-15 Years of experience with Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Defense Studies, or related fields
Prior experience in defense sales, government relations, or business development
Knowledge of defense procurement, IT Infra and Security Solutions
Strong verbal and written communication for engaging with stakeholders
Ability to derive customer challenges and provide innovative solutions
Desirable Requirements
Experience working with Indian Defense Sector, PSUs, or government agencies
Former commissioned officers with business development experience are highly valued
