What you’ll achieve
As a Principal Quality Engineer, you will drive continuous improvement in the quality of systems, peripherals and software to ensure that Dell delivers high quality products to customers. You will work as a part of a team of engineers on certifications of 3rd party vendors integration with PowerStore, in order to provide reported certification, while maintaining clarity and stability to PowerStore customers

You will:

• Plan, execute, and analyse compatibility certifications for PowerStore storage systems as required by external vendors official guidelines

• Utilize latest tools and Protocols supported by PowerStore storage systems for various releases and models.

• You will be operating as a part of a modern scrum team of test developers in PowerStore QTE organization.

Essential Requirements

• Hands on testing and configuration experience of storage and computer systems - 5 years+

• Ability to execute commands using Bash, PowerShell and esxcli – 2 years+  

• Testing experience of Integration with different vendors such as AIX, Windows Servers, VMware ESXi, Oracle … - 3 years+

• Understanding and operating storage communication protocols such as FC, iSCSI, NVMeOF in standalone and SAN environments. The concept of boot from SAN - 3 years+

• Expert skills in test plan execution, result analysis and reporting  

Desirable Requirements

• Experience with Hardware Compatibility Kits, such as the Windows Hardware Certification Kit (HCK) and VMware’s Hardware Compatibility List (HCL).
