What you’ll achieve
As an Account Executive Professional Services Sales you will be responsible to grow revenue within aligned customer space for our outstanding Professional Services portfolio with focus on AI, Cybersecurity, Multicloud, Application & Data as well as Workplace in the space of Transformation Services (Consulting & Residency) as well as Deployment Services. Inspire our customers and partners with our great Professional Services Portfolio to help drive the difference, productivity and great customer experience. You will work very closely with Services Pre-Sales, Services Delivery and Core Sales as well as Channel/Delivery Partners.

  • Industry & Technical Knowledge

Understanding of the services portfolio (e.g., Consulting & Managed & Residency Services for the focus topics of AI, Cyber Resiliency, Modern Infrastructure / Cloud and Modern Workplace).

Awareness of industry trends and how they impact customer operations.

  • Communication & Presentation

Clear, persuasive communication tailored to different stakeholders (CxO-level, business decision makers, technical teams).

Strong storytelling skills to articulate value propositions.

  • Negotiation & Deal Structuring

Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and close high-value deals.

Skilled in pricing definition, contract terms, and risk management.

  • Ownership, Collaboration & Internal Alignment

Ownership for identification up to closing Professional Services Opportunities. Works cross-functionally with services pre-sales, delivery, legal, finance, services product teams as well as core sales.

Ensures alignment between customer expectations and service delivery.

  • Pipeline & Forecast Management

Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC).

Accurate forecasting and pipeline hygiene.

  • Resilience & Adaptability

Comfortable with ambiguity and driving change.

Able to pivot strategies based on customer feedback or market shifts.

  • Project & Time Management

Manages multiple opportunities and stakeholders simultaneously to sustainably grow business in aligned territory.

Prioritizes effectively to meet deadlines and targets.

  • Ethical & Trusted Advisor Approach

Builds credibility through integrity and transparency

Acts as a trusted advisor rather than a transactional seller


Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 10+ years deep industry experience with large enterprise customers cross industry segment (3-5 diverse industries) as well as large public customers
  • Deep experience in Business Development, Project management, large deal management, Consulting & Advisory Roles held before
  • Strong creativity in problem solving and responding to changing customer requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Dell Professional Services portfolio and competition especially on AI, Cybersecurity, Multicloud and Modern Workplace
  • Strong knowledge of Dell HW-portfolio to drive services attach & upsell
  • Powerful English language skills and Executive presence capabilities to lead conversations at CxO level externally as well as to Dell-executives internally
  • Feeling comfortable to collaborate in a complex matrix organization
  • Industry versatility with a tech-centric core
  • Cross-functional experience (sales, consulting, technical)
