Inventory Management Advisor

Our Inventory Management team takes charge of the security and accountability of our inventory by documenting transactions, verifying processes and procedures and reviewing systems. We conduct physical inventory audits and lead cycle counts, identifying discrepancies and optimizing processes within Dell's supply chain

What you’ll achieve
You’ll work with our Service partners and a wide range of Dell stakeholders in Services, Operations, Logistics, IT and Finance/Accounting to drive improved visibility and control of inventory in the Dell network.
You will:
Develop and enhance processes for controlling and accurately reporting inventory throughout the Dell network
Drive partners to submit timely inventory reports; identify and drive resolution to issues impacting inventory visibility and accuracy.
Collaborate with internal & external partners to ensure inventory is managed in compliance with Dell’s inventory policy and SOX controls
Lead remote and onsite audits, to validate inventory levels at partner sites (~10% travel may be required)
Drive inventory assurance, optimization, accountability, and proactive risk management both for partners’ sites as well as Dell factory

Essential Requirements
Self-starter, able to work independently, take initiative, high level of command, prioritization & influencing skills, business acumen
Strong analytical skills; comfortable applying analytical procedures and performing queries on large data sets, data interpretations and problem solving skills
Advanced written and spoken Polish & English, excellent communication skills
3-5 years of professional experience in supply chain operations role (such as inventory/material management, SC processes design set-up, partner/vendor governance)
University degree in operations, logistics, finance, accounting
Desirable Requirements
Oracle, Power BI, SQL, VBA and other digital skills
Working knowledge of accounting/finance processes
Project management accreditation
