It deals with a wide range of initiatives including new technologyresearch, cutting-edge technology evaluation, and setting the standards for advanced technology across the company. Providing leadership in design, planning and due diligence, they lead the technology direction of our global business to help achieve our long-term growth objectives. They also keep us ahead of the curve by analyzing trends and developments in markets and technology before translating them into strategic operational plans.

What you’ll achieve
As an Advisor, Strategic Technology Ecosystems you will be responsible for engaging with the technology ecosystem in key strategic areas (AI, Edge, Security). You will work with technology startups in Silicon Valley and other key technology hubs on understanding market and technology trends, coordinating exposure to business units within Dell, and being a point of contact for these companies for technology evaluation.
You will:
Engage with technology startups in key strategic areas (AI, Edge, Security)
Build relationships with founders and startup executives to understand company value propositions
Uncover new and emerging technology trends
Participate in networking events with technology companies and investors
Represent Dell Technologies CTO office in the startup technology company ecosystem

Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here’s what we are looking for with this role:
Essential Requirements
3-5 years of experience in a professional technology development organization, and working in or with startup companies
Familiarity with AI / ML topics and technologies
Good quantitative analytical ability, intellectual ability, and curiosity
Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Communicates thoughts clearly and concisely (both written and verbally), has advanced interpersonal skills, and an aptitude for teamwork
Desirable Requirements
5+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or relevant; or 3+ years with a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent experience
Hands-on experience in AI/ML development
Compensation: Dell is committed to Fair and Equitable compensation practices. The Base Salary Range for this role is $118,000 - $165,000.
