What you’ll achieve
As a Financial Analysis Sr Advisor, you will work closely with Market Commodity finance team on various reporting and analysis partnering with Procurement, Treasury, Accounting and Partner Banking teams. You will be driving financial performance impact analysis, financial models and reports and variance review of actual and planned results to help Procurement meet cost and spend targets.

What you’ll achieve

• Support the DGP Controller to prepare and analyze DGP P&L (particularly on deferral, price erosion & DGP Opex) on monthly basis and responsible for month end close tie-out with the DGP Accounting team and commodities controllers to ensure the results reported in the DGP P&L are reconcilable with the accounting records.  

• Ensure integrity in dealing with billing audits & adapt to high standard of controls and compliance in all related areas with no compromise.

• Be the spokesperson that calls out the business requirements/considerations for areas relating to product costing, materials variances and Dell Global Procurement (DGP).

• Own the project management plan (from BRD/PVD to post-deployment, including stabilization period), communication, change management and governance framework to ensure end-to-end alignment across all key stakeholders, including, but not limited to Cost Planning, Cost Analytics, CIA, DGP Finance, WWPF, Accounting, Supply Chain Enablement, and IT.

• Conduct comprehensive cost-benefit analysis, envisioning/pilot assessment and feasibility study for some unique cases if needed and provide finance support to projects run by Supply Chain Strategy & Enablement, DGP, Accounting, WWP-Process, Tools & Governance teams.

Essential Requirements

• Result-driven & self-motivated, detail & process oriented, good teamwork and able to work independently.

• Global experience with good communication & interpersonal skills.

• Strong planning, organizing, resource/time management, analytical and command skills.

• Critical thinking & problem-solving skills competent in MS Excel. Knowledge in product costing, inventory valuation, supply-chain and product data will be added advantage.

• Strong analytical and command skills and competent in MS Excel. Knowledge in Costing and Microsoft Access will be added advantages.

Desirable Requirement

• Preferably Finance/Accounting/Supply-Chain related degree.

• Minimum 6 years of finance/accounting/supply chain related experience, preferably with MNC. Proven program management experience will be added advantage.
