What you’ll achieve

As a client-facing consultant for Digital Cities solution architecture, you will be the subject matter expert in envisioning and designing solutions, interpreting client requirements for PoCs, RFIs,  RFQs, RFPs and formulating compelling solution offerings. An opportunity to spearhead collaborative efforts across various business units, ensuring alignment with client objectives and liaising with government officials, agencies, to achieve desired outcomes aligned with the Digital Cities portfolio.

You will:

• Be the Digital Cities customer/partner engagement lead, building an in-depth knowledge of clients' business objectives that can be translated into Digital City business opportunities

• Present Digital Cities vision, strategy, and programs at industry events, conferences and customer forums

• Drive business development and pre-sales initiatives by leveraging both industry and technical background

• Engage with the key ecosystem partners (SI’s, ISVs, OEM’s) on the solution/architecture development

• Provide solution blueprints and pilot architecture support as an SME for large/key opportunities

Essential Requirements

• Strong business and technical acumen to build relationships and developing a consultative/ solutions selling approach, with proven high-level negotiation skills, and the ability to challenge the customer’s status quo

• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal skills to be able to influence and interact with confidence and credibility at all levels within the Dell Technologies companies, customers, partners and vendors

• Good understanding of technologies such as – Multi/Hybrid cloud, IOT, Cloud Native Architecture, Apps containerization, AI/ML, Computer vision; Possess the ability to design hybrid cloud models, on-premise, VMware cloud, IaaS, PaaS, CaaS, IOT and DR platforms

• Understands and describes the multiple use cases for smart cities ideally with knowledge of partners using OC, IOC, IOT technology and big data platforms for ingestion and analytics

• Ability to work well in public sector culture, complex navigation of agency stakeholders and confident in meeting leaders of government to promote Dell Technologies Digital Cities 

Desirable Requirements

• Educational qualification in Computer Science or a related field typically requires 8+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree; or 5+ years with a Master’s degree;

• Proven to be proficient in driving solutions for the government and/or enterprise accounts.
