What you’ll achieve
We are seeking a passionate and visionary AI Server Platform Development Manager to join our team. Our team focuses on the delivery of Artificial Intelligence server products for external customers. In this role, you will be at the engineering epic center for the platform development, representing as engineering leader in the Core Team to collaborate with other leaders within Dell’s cross-functional organization, driving excellence and innovation in every aspect of your project, managing high-complexity AI products through the entire lifecycle. You will:

• Core Team Representative: Development Manager is the key role to represent platform engineering stats in the Core Team, collaborate with value chain engineering team. Platform Development: Work across to lead Platform development team including Core Hardware team, Product Marketing, Service, Supply Chain, Quality, and Program Manager.

• Manage Development Efforts: Oversee and coordinate development efforts across diverse engineering teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and delivery.

• Vendor and Technical Partner Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and technical partners to ensure alignment and success.

• Schedule and budget: Lead and drive Engineering development to meet program schedule within budget target.Portfolio Mindset: You will drive solution and release readiness with a closed-loop focus on best practices across portfolios and business units. 

• Business Acumen: Apply strong business insights to drive strategic decisions and optimize project outcomes to meet our customers’ needs.

Essential Requirements

• Strong background in development engineering of compute, storage, and networking architectures, with proven experience in the design of solution-level AI enterprise data center systems. Expertise in technical issue presentation skills.

• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire multi-disciplined engineering workgroups to achieve outstanding results. Strong ability to influence others to achieve results and drive project success.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners.

• Strong business acumen to drive strategic initiatives and project success.

• Educational Requirements: 12 to 15 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree or 8+ years with a master’s degree.
