What you’ll achieve
As a Software Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software based on the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions. This development team enables next-generation Industry-leading Dell platforms with software defined NAS solution.

You will:

• You'll be part of a bright engineering team with a culture of open communication, empowerment, innovation, where we develop products with simplicity, performance, and scalability.
• The team's core responsibility is to design, develop, and debug the data path, Control path and platform Integration aspects of storage systems. 
• Work with product owners, architects and engineering leads to understand use cases and features.
• Translate architectural design into detailed or low-level design, deliver code and participate in code reviews.
• Take part in the full software development life cycle including development, test, continuous delivery & support.
• Be an active member of an Agile team, collaboratively realizing features through development, test, and delivery

Essential Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in developing Enterprise Storage NAS based applications.
• Experience in Networking concepts, LACP, vlan, macvlans, docker networking knowledge, TCP protocol stack.
• Experience in Network security protocols for Network File Systems and SMB.
• Experience in debugging tools like Wireshark, Tcpdump.
• Experience in clustering technology and High Availability scenarios.

Desirable Requirements

• Familiarity with NAS (Network-Attached Storage) domain
• Good knowledge on LDAP, DNS, AD
