AI Business Development Manager

Some of our most valuable business comes from existing customers. That’s because our Business Development Sales team takes care to forge strong and insightful relationships with them. To gain understanding of the unique and changing factors that drive purchasing decisions, the team develops connections at all levels of a client’s business. They use their insight to identify and create new opportunities – and to build the business development strategies that underpin successful sales. As well as maximizing revenue, they take responsibility for accurate forecasts.

What you’ll achieve

You will be architecting and evangelizing AI technology solutions across regional sales teams here at Dell Technologies. This will be a part of our new AI Business Development Charter where there will be horizontal solution-selling across the AI ecosystem from data management to data center to far edge and enable/activate the broader sales organization on AI.

You will:

  • You will evangelize and promote Dell Technologies capabilities in this AI Marketplace
  • You will assist in scoping and identifying the technical requirements for our customers use cases
  • You will provide expertise and guidance to our customers and internal resources for what is needed to design solutions and win for Dell
  • You will collaborate with other engineering resources within Dell and our partners to build the right solutions for our customers

Essential Requirements

  • Understanding of emerging technologies, trends, and solutions (such as AI/ML and Data science, Converged and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure, Public or Private Clouds, X-as-a-Service)
  • Excellent communication skills including active listening, proposal and statement of work writing, and delivery of white board or formal presentations
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, highly matrix organization with a strong desire to lead diverse teams thru multiple sales campaigns to completion
  • A strong and persuasive sales-oriented personality that can partner with and influence cross-functional stakeholders from Sales Teams, the Solutioning Team and Delivery Teams to position and win services business


Desirable Requirements
•Field sales experience preferred
•Bachelor’s degree
