What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Principal Solutions Architect, you will take the technical lead during the managed services engagements, using a consultative approach towards the customer to fully understand their overall business goals. From there, you will translate the client’s business requirements into specific systems or applications for complex technology solutions.
You will:
- Be the technical lead for Design, Solution, Integration to customer environment and operational stability of the solutions.
- Review clients Logical Design, DC architectures and solution overview prior to configuration, upgrades, and expansions.
- Be responsible for Industry Best Practice, Process and Design documentation and updates.
- Provide support on networking components and configurations, advanced knowledge of networking is a must. Including but not limited to Brocade, Cisco Nexus and UCS Compute.
- Work with in-house team to development & automate repeatable tasks and provide operational support
- Provide day to day support of existing environment, including participation in rostered after hours support duties, for problem solving and configuration changes and upgrades to the client’s environment.
- Manage risks in the current environment, create remediation plans, document and track to completion within an ITIL framework.

Essential Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant experience with Converged (e.g. Vblock, Dell MX) and/or Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (e.g. VxRail)
- Experience with architecture design, documentation, and operations for compute, storage, and networking in a VMware vSphere environment
- Subject Matter Expert in VMware vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, and NSX
- Understanding of ITIL and Agile Methodology. Strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service attitude, communication skills (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills
Desirable Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (Technical)
- Experience with VMware Aria Operations, Aria Operations for Logs, Aria Operations for Networks, VMware Site Recovery Manager
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana toolset, Go-lang exporter development skills, Kubelite on baremetal servers skills
