What you’ll achieve
As a Consultant Technical Project Manager at Dell Technologies, you will bridge pre-sales consultancy and project execution, ensuring seamless delivery of cutting-edge rack scale solutions to customers. You’ll collaborate with sales, technical, and operations teams to design, validate, and deliver high-value datacenter solutions while driving process efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Pre-Sales Consultancy & Solution Design
Partner with technical sales teams to validate and refine rack scale solution designs, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
Lead scoping discussions with sales engineers and customers to define requirements and ensure solution accuracy.
Educate sales teams and customers on the unique benefits and value of Dell’s rack scale offerings, tailoring messaging to technical and business audiences.
Project Management & Delivery
Oversee end-to-end project execution, from order initiation to post-delivery support, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to optimize demand planning, secure ship dates, and streamline order processes.
Liaise with manufacturing and technical teams (e.g., rack engineers, validation engineers) to ensure proper documentation and execution of system assembly and configuration.
Act as the central point of contact, communicating timelines, commitments, and updates to sales teams and customers.
Coordinate logistics, including delivery scheduling, carrier pre-alerts, and compliance documentation (e.g., export regulations, commercial invoices).
Proactively identify and resolve issues by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, driving continuous process improvements based on feedback.

Essential Requirements
5+ years of experience in project management, technical delivery, or pre-sales support within a technology or datacenter environment.
Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile) is highly advantageous.
Proven project management expertise, with a track record of delivering complex, end-to-end projects on time and within scope.
Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) in English, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Technical proficiency in datacenter solutions, rack scale systems, or similar high-performance infrastructure.
Experience in stakeholder management across diverse teams (sales, engineering, operations).
Desirable Requirements
Familiarity with modern supply chain practices and tools (e.g., ERP systems, demand forecasting software).
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project, Miro) and collaboration platforms such as Teams.
Understanding of agile methodologies and their application in hardware/software integration projects.
