What you'll achieve
We are looking for a licensing professional to join Dell's Regulatory Compliance Legal team as a Global Trade Licensing Specialist. In this role, you will primarily support the drafting and filing of licenses for the sale and servicing of Dell’s industry-leading AI-enabled products. You will serve as a strategic partner to our business stakeholders, driving cross-functional work, and providing subject matter expertise to complete the filing of license applications to the US Department of Commerce. While experience in filing US export license applications is strongly preferred, we welcome candidates with strong backgrounds as paralegals or in similar legal and compliance roles.
This role will report to Dell's Director of Regulatory Compliance in the Legal Department.
Key Responsibilities
Draft and file export license applications for the sale and service of Dell products worldwide, with support from colleagues across various functions
Collaborate with business leads to strategically prioritize license submissions
Partner with Global Trade Compliance organization to ensure compliance with mandatory license conditions and reporting requirements
Support license exceptions compliance processes
Essential Requirements
4+ years of legal experience as an export licensing professional or in a legal/compliance role, such as a paralegal
Foundational knowledge and understanding of US export compliance and/or a demonstrated history and willingness to learn a complex regulatory structure
Strong written advocacy skills
Compensation
Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position: $119,000 to $177,100
