Join us as a Software Principal Engineer on our Dell PowerStore Software Engineering team in Bangalore.

What you will achieve

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be participating in design and development of a smart CI/CD test selection module using a combination of static code coverage analysis and advanced AI/ML techniques to dynamically select high impact tests to run to validate PowerStore code changes at check-in time. 

You will:

·Work as part of an Agile scrum team responsible the DevOps pipeline for 20+ SCRUM teams developing software for PowerStore.

·Conduct testing and automation for PowerStore Cluster Storage Management Software backend (a highly scalable microservices and Docker container-based system).

·Collaborate with a diverse team of software engineers, and test engineers both within and across product teams to build the test environment utilized to validate the CI/CD environment

Essential Requirements

·5+ years of experience in software development.

·Well versed in Python and working in a Linux environment.

·Strong working knowledge with Git.

·Working experience with REST APIs, Groovy, Jenkins, Postgres, Java.

·Self-Learning abilities, critical thinking skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills

Desirable Requirements

·Experience working in a geo-distributed team using Agile

·Familiarity with code coverage tools such as Gcov, Jacoco.
