Strategic Business Development Senior Advisor

Our Corporate Development and Strategy team is at the heart of Dell Technologies. It deals with a wide range of initiatives including new business opportunities, mergers & acquisitions, partnerships, alliances and joint ventures. Providing leadership in design, planning and due diligence, they lead the corporate development of our global business to help achieve our long-term growth objectives. They also keep us ahead of the curve by analyzing trends and developments in markets and technology before translating them into strategic operational plans.

What you’ll achieve

Strategy role in supply chain or procurement strategy. Operational Execution: Supply chain planning, procurement, manufacturing, or logistics leadership role overseeing successful analytics-oriented or change management initiatives to develop in-depth operational knowledge. Stakeholder Management: 8+ years of relevant experience in strategy/industry with strong focus on supplier/stakeholder management across product lines, including large, complex product management definition and delivery.As part of an incubator of future leaders at the company, you will be developed with the end goal of moving on to a leading role within the organization.

You will:

• Lead the research and analysis of market and industry trends to help identify and assess strategic opportunities. Regularly makes presentations and recommendations to senior leadership team.

• Conduct extensive research and coordinating with cross-functional teams to collect business critical data.

• Support the formulation of insights and recommendations as part of a Strategy project team.

• Work collaboratively with senior leadership across functions and groups. Assist in leading due diligence reviews and other business/financial reviews.

• Be part of a fast-paced dynamic environment that requires the ability to carry out detailed and accurate data analysis on a consistent basis. Package deliverables in a clear and concise manner to help business partners make actionable decisions. Develop and deliver thoughtful, compelling internal and external communications that articulate the company's and the Strategy Team’s value proposition.

Essential Requirements

• Distinctive problem solving and analytical skills along with Effective project and change management skills.

• Ability to work with senior executives. Ability to function independently and guide junior team members.

• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely (both written and verbally).

• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

• Excellent spoken and written communication skills & Ability to build good networks and influence across functional organizations.

Desirable Requirements

• Graduate/Post-graduate degree in business or supply chain. Master’s degree (Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, etc.) from a top-tier university with 6-8 years relevant work experience

• Consulting/Research experience in high tech & automotive projects is preferred.
