What is your current role/internship position?

I have been at Dell Technologies for 3 years now and started when I was still a university student. I began my career interning for the Transfer Pricing Documentation team. Currently, I’m part of the Finance Graduate Program in Bratislava, working on the Consumer Solutions Group Financial Planning and Analysis (CSG FP&A) Spend team as a Financial Analyst.

How did you find the internship opportunity at Dell Technologies and what made you decide to join the company?

I wanted to find a good and flexible part-time job during college, so I was looking for different kinds of opportunities that fit my needs. After researching the company, I found a great fit for me here at Dell Technologies. I joined mainly because of the flexible working hours, which I needed because I was student. I soon realized that I was working with amazing, helpful, and such skilled people and that I really enjoy being part of such a multinational company. I loved that my work was always interesting, and I was able to gain so much experience. When I got the opportunity to continue in the Finance Graduate Program after graduating from college, I didn't hesitate for a moment.

What are you working on/current projects?

As the part of the Finance Graduate Program, we have a lot of different activities that we can get involved with. Currently, I am the lead for the University Relations Project team where we help Dell’s Acquisition team raise awareness about our development program opportunities. In November, we were able to organize an event for university students giving them the opportunity to visit the Bratislava Site Office and hosted a team competition. Now, we are working on new ideas and events that we will present to our advisors and sponsors soon.

What do you like the most about working for Dell Technologies?

I really like that working here is always interesting and presents new challenges. In addition to my current role, I get to participate in different side projects. I love that I’m supported to develop my skills anytime and in any way. One of my biggest motivations is knowing that every day different experiences will arise from working with Dell Technologies.

What have you learned so far that will be helpful in your next steps and career path?

I’ve learned to deal with different kind of challenges and adversity. Before, I really struggled when something didn’t go as I wanted or planned. Now, I know that I must always look on the bright side of things, remain positive and stay optimistic.

What would you say to encourage others interested in working with Dell Technologies?

Dell Technologies is not only a great place to work, but it’s also great place to find friends, develop yourself and try new things every day.

Outside of work, what else do you enjoy doing with your time?

I love spending time with my family and friends. I have a dog, so I usually take her for a walk or on a hike. During the winter season, I love cross country skiing. I’m also trying aerial acrobatics right now; I’m enjoying it as a good break after a long day of working hard.
