Can you describe your current role?

I am the Central Eastern Europe and Middle East, Turkey and Africa (CEEMETA) Marketing Director for Channel and Distribution. I lead a team of marketing managers in various countries who develop and execute strategies that help to change perceptions, open doors and close business for Dell Technologies. Marketing is the face of Dell Technologies. We are the shop window for the brand, which is a big responsibility.

Can you share your career progression within the company?

I started in 1992 as an intern in the UK, moved to South Africa in 2002, and then the UAE in 2018. Through that time, I had various positions in technical training, product management and field marketing moving from an individual contributor to a people manager.

What inspires you at Dell Technologies?

The people I work with. Together we are unstoppable, and nothing is beyond our capabilities if we work together as a team. There has always been such a can-do attitude at Dell, and every day it’s challenging and rewarding at the same time. Being in the technology industry is also inspiring, knowing that the technology that we make really does change people's lives for the better and move people forward.

What are your proudest accomplishments thus far?

I am proud to have served this company for many years and to have shown that this is a company where you can build a career.

What was the most challenging transition you’ve experienced in your career thus far?

Relocating to different countries twice during my career has been both my greatest challenge and achievement, as it involved balancing work and personal life. I moved for a career opportunity with Dell Technologies and for the chance to experience a new way of life. People shouldn't fear relocating for work; stepping out of your comfort zone can make you stronger and enrich your life's journey.

How are you empowered to make an impact at Dell Technologies?

It’s in our hands as employees. We have the flexibility and the encouragement needed to challenge the norms, think differently and implement change for the benefit of our staff and customers.

What would you say to encourage others to join Dell Technologies?
