In the face of the rapidly changing market, having diverse, inclusive talent and workplace culture has become a competitive advantage for organizations to meet more complex challenges. Dell Technologies’ investment in cultivating diverse talent is aimed at creating long-term competitiveness through a sustainable talent development strategy. The core concept of diversity and inclusion lies in creating an environment where diverse talents from different backgrounds can thrive and reach their full potential, thus unlocking more potential for a better future.
TechWomen@TW is a community formed by cross-company employees in the tech industry. It gathers industry resources to establish a platform for women in Taiwan's tech industry to exchange and learn from each other, encouraging talent empowerment and career growth and promoting a more female-friendly workplace environment.
The event, held in collaboration with Women in Action (WIA) Taiwan chapter, was also supported by Dell Technologies and played a significant role in bringing together thought leaders and participants to explore these crucial themes.
The AI wave and the post-globalization trend are transforming the workplace, presenting both challenges and opportunities for Taiwan's tech industry. This year's event theme, "Embrace, Evolve, and Elevate in the AI Era - Women's Power to Create the Future," aims to inspire everyone to seize opportunities, continue learning and challenge themselves in the AI era, courageously exploring diverse career possibilities.
During the half-day event, senior female executives from seven different companies shared their experiences and practical cases with on-site and online participants through thematic discussions on "Mastering Future Skills with a Growth Mindset in the New AI Era" and "Expanding International Perspectives for a Global Career." These workshops provided more opportunities for interaction among participants. Additionally, this year marks the first time that TechWomen@TW has invited female developer communities, student groups and government organizations to participate, fostering more cross-industry and cross-generation interaction to help Taiwan create a more friendly, equal and inclusive tech employment environment. This initiative extends the cultivation of female tech talent from the workplace to campuses, promoting continuous growth.
Taiwan’s Vice President, Hsiao Bi-khim, known for her commitment to gender equality and talent cultivation, also participated in the event and encouraged women to persist in their efforts within the tech industry.
The application of new AI technologies will bring endless possibilities to our lives. Diverse talents and perspectives will be the key to driving innovation and progress in the AI era, and gender equality is the cornerstone of social progress. We believe that "if you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together." Dell Technologies Taiwan will continue to invest in the development and cultivation of female talent and cooperate with various partners, expecting more organizations to join us so that every woman can confidently pursue her career dreams and demonstrate her unique value. Furthermore, we will increase our efforts in both campuses and industries to continue developing female tech talent, ensuring that women from Taiwan keep shining on the global stage.
