Tell us about yourself and your role at Dell Technologies.
I am currently a Regional Director at Dell Technologies responsible for AI & Multicloud Portfolio Marketing. I have the pleasure and privilege of meeting with our customers and partners to talk to them about their challenges, their desired business outcomes and how we can help them wherever they are on their journey. I evangelize our portfolio of solutions and services, deliver Executive Briefing Sessions, deliver keynote and breakout sessions in conferences and trade shows and I produce portfolio messaging specific to AI. I have a passion for customer-centric engagements, simplifying the complexities of emerging technologies that have not yet reached their full potential (just like AI, GenAI and Agentic AI) and for finding solutions to real world business problems.
How do you stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in emerging technologies?
This is very important for me. I stay updated by doing the research, spending time learning, reading (when I have time) and discussing with others about the latest technologies, solutions and advancements in emerging technologies. I believe that we are presented with opportunities to learn something new every day.
What’s a unique skill or talent that sets you apart in the tech world?
I am told I am very good at engaging with others and presenting. I enjoy this a lot and every time I am given the opportunity, I rehearse, practice and want to be the best at what I do. If we set out to do a job, we must always do the best job we can. There are a lot smarter people than myself, but I try to learn from them. I am told that I have a warm and friendly yet professional approach – which I really hope is true!
What is one word you would use to describe Dell Technologies?
Exciting – there’s always something remarkable going on at Dell and no two days are ever the same. I love that!
We are leaders in so many areas in the IT industry and we will continue to push those boundaries, always keeping our customers’ priorities as ours. We play a critical role providing the right platforms, technologies and solutions to facilitate these evolutions, whether it is modern workplace, modern infrastructure, multicloud, AI, edge computing, security or ESG.

What do you enjoy most about being an ambassador for our brand?
I am an evangelist for Dell Technologies because I believe in the company, our mission statement and our strategy. We create technologies to drive human progress – and we don’t just say it, we do it. Have a look at the amazing Dell Solar Community Hub work we do! It began about five years ago when I was given the opportunity to become an Executive Briefing Center Discussion Leader. I have been asked to represent Dell in so many conferences all over the world. Meeting people and having engaging, interesting conversations with them is just the best thing in the world.
What sets our company apart from others in the tech industry?
I believe two things: our mission and my amazing colleagues. Our mission is about human progress. It’s not about the internet or a certain server, it’s about using our technology to drive a positive, constructive change that directly impacts our society. People buy from people. My colleagues are simply some of the best in the industry. They are all professional and knowledgeable people who work very hard to make that positive impact.
What does innovation mean to you?
Innovation is a new solution to a real problem. It is a mindset and really a big subject. We must embrace, promote and encourage innovation, but at the same time, failing is a part of innovating. This culture of innovation is very important here at Dell – for our customers and our partners. We try to focus on accelerating innovation together.
Can you share a project or achievement you're particularly proud of?
I am proud of so many things I’ve had the pleasure and privilege of doing here. I love it when we delight our customers and you can see it in their eyes. I am proud of every time I engage with a customer and they receive the outcome they are looking for. I love building these relationships.

How do you see the future of technology evolving, and what role do you think our company will play in it?
I see the future of technology evolving very quickly. Emerging technologies which have not yet achieved their full potential are rapidly exploding. Look at AI. We’ve been doing AI for over ten years now, then suddenly GenAI (Generative AI) quickly accelerated adoption. This year, watch and see how Agentic AI will be the new hot topic. We must always bear in mind security and efficiency. In my personal opinion, Dell Technologies is always at the forefront of this rapid evolution.
As I mentioned, we try to accelerate innovation and outcomes in these areas. I think we are in a fantastic position to not only be a part of this evolution but in a position to shape it, influence it, accelerate it and have a huge positive impact on it.
Do you have any hobbies or interests that might surprise your colleagues?
Sometime ago, I decided to learn scuba diving. As you can imagine living in London, there’s really no diving here. Whenever I travel and have the opportunity, I take it. Diving takes you to another beautiful, peaceful, serene world – it’s something I wish I had more time to do. You’re transformed to another place where there’s a lot of underwater life. It becomes even more stunning! I’ve dived with sharks, barracuda, giant manta rays – just truly amazing.
If you could have dinner with any three people, dead or alive, who would they be and why?
- I’ll start with something very personal to me. We lost my Mom when I was young (maybe 14 years old). I would DEFINITELY start with her. I think it is obvious that I would love to talk to her about anything and everything, about my life, my family, my ups and my downs. I can only imagine what life would have been like if she was still around.
- Sir David Attenborough would be outstanding to meet. He’s just the coolest man alive and I admire his dedication to researching, documenting and protecting wildlife and nature. He spent 70 years of his life doing that – now that’s passion and dedication! While I was doing my master’s degree at UCL, I attended a seminar where he was the guest speaker – it was amazing to say the least. I respect Sir David Attenborough and I love everything he does and what he stands for.
- Last but not least, it would be nice to have Mohamed Salah from Liverpool Football Club over for dinner. He’s an Egyptian (like me) and he is, in my opinion, one of the best in the English Premiership and in the world. He came from a simple background and took control of his future. Determination, persistence and passion drove him to be one of the BEST in football. I admire how he also helps others who have not been so privileged. This is what life is all about. GO ON LIVERPOOL!
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I love visiting Egypt and I go every year. Being with family is very important to me and that includes extended family. We always explore something and there’s plenty to explore in Egypt. I love going to the Red Sea (where I learned to scuba dive), Luxor, Aswan, the North Coast and Fayoum. Last time I visited Egypt, I took some time to travel to Fayoum where I was given the opportunity to visit one of Dell’s Solar Community Hubs. You can see more about it / read more about that amazing trip here.
I have not yet visited Bermuda, Seychelles, Mauritius and the Maldives. They are most definitely on my list. I love nature and I always make sure to spend plenty of time outdoors, appreciating everything around me and enjoying the positive energy.
What’s your favorite tech gadget or tool?
I’m a very simple person and it really does not take much to keep me satisfied. Believe it or not, I’m not that much of a technical gadget type of guy. I used to be, but rarely do I have time anymore. If I were to choose one, I would choose my Dell mobile workstation – I think I spend more time with my PC than with anyone else. It has an NVIDIA GPU in it, which makes me feel very impressive!
