Hi! I’m Kallan Angus, and I am a Senior Analyst on the Global Partner Engagements team! I’m originally from Framingham, Massachusetts and am now living in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston. My career at Dell started as a summer intern in 2019 under Education Services and 2020 under Global Marketing. After graduating from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2021, I joined the Marketing Development Program (MDP) and moved down to Austin, Texas while I rotated through three exciting positions in Digital Events, Global Partner Marketing, and the Executive Briefing Program over two years. I’m now a project manager for several global partner programs, including our global partner advisory boards and partner recognition strategy.
What's one impactful piece of advice you've received in your career journey so far?
I had a business professor at UMass who used to always say, “Do what you say, say what you do.” I still use that as a guiding principle for how I try to show up as a team member today! Building strong relationships with those around me and knowing they trust me to deliver quality work on time is so important and not unique advice, but I’ve always liked the second part that acts as a reminder to be vocal about the work you’re doing so that teammates are aware of your contributions and impact. At the end of the day, you are your own greatest advocate!
How did the MDP prepare you for a permanent position?
The MDP program does an excellent job of preparing you to excel in the face of rapid change! Marketing is a world that keeps you on your toes, and the rotational experiences in MDP help teach you how to jump in and make an impact quickly. It also connects you with an incredible network of peers, alumni, managers and mentors who are there for you every step of the way!
What has been a standout moment of your career at Dell Technologies so far?
Rather than a particular moment, I’m most proud of the progression of my career here! I look back at starting as an intern in 2019 and how much I looked up to the MDPs. Now five years later, here I am as a program graduate continuing to grow with the company! It’s been so fun to see where each new experience has taken me.

How has Dell contributed to your success?
One thing I’ll always be grateful to Dell for is giving me the confidence and opportunity to move halfway across the country! While I was only there for two years, being part of the Dell community down in Austin and Round Rock pushed me out of my comfort zone and brought me some of my closest friends.
What is your favorite part of working at Dell?
The people! That’s the most basic answer, but it’s the truth! Being in a rotational program extends your network in such an amazing way, and I’ve really enjoyed getting to work with team members across the globe. I’m grateful that it’s been easy to feel part of the Dell community in my organization, within the MDP program and as an ERG member.
