A New Chapter Begins with Curiosity and Courage
Before joining Dell Technologies, I had the opportunity to work with companies from South Korea, Singapore, and China. Each experience helped shape my professional foundation and gave me a glimpse into different business cultures. However, I felt there was still something missing — I had never experienced the unique dynamic of working for an American company in Vietnam. I was curious, eager to grow, and ready to challenge myself in a new environment. That’s when I discovered Dell Technologies.
From the moment I learned about Dell, I felt inspired. As a globally recognized tech leader with a strong reputation for innovation and development, it stood out as a place where I could thrive both professionally and personally.

Building Global Connections Through Language and Learning
One of the most enriching aspects of working at Dell is its truly global and multilingual environment. Every day, I’m immersed in conversations, meetings, and collaborations that span cultures and languages — especially English and Chinese. It felt like the perfect place to continue learning and to take on a challenge I’d been quietly dreaming about: learning Chinese.
With encouragement from my team and access to incredible resources, I began studying Chinese to better connect with my colleagues and partners across Malaysia, Taiwan, and China. The support I received was overwhelming — from learning platforms to peer encouragement — and just six months in, I saw more progress than I ever imagined. I wasn’t just learning a new language; I was learning how to communicate confidently across borders, build relationships, and truly become a global professional.
What made this journey even more meaningful was the sense of community around me. My Vietnamese colleagues were just as eager to grow — many were also actively improving their foreign language skills, creating an atmosphere of shared motivation and mutual encouragement. We weren’t just coworkers; we were learning partners, cheering each other on.

I’m truly grateful to be part of Dell Technologies — a place where curiosity is celebrated, growth is supported, and people are empowered to dream beyond borders. For me, it’s more than a job. It’s a journey of becoming.

A Culture That Empowers You to Thrive
At Dell, growth is more than a buzzword — it’s embedded in the culture. My manager genuinely cares about our long-term development and encourages us to explore new learning paths. Whether it's through internal training or formal language courses, we're given the space and support to build the future we want. One of the most memorable experiences was our annual team-building trip to China, where I had the chance to not only bond with teammates but also use my newly acquired Chinese skills in real-world situations — something that felt both surreal and empowering. Looking back, learning Chinese hasn’t just helped me in my current role — it has transformed the way I see the world. It boosted my confidence, strengthened my adaptability, and opened doors to deeper connections in a global work environment. It has made me feel more prepared to contribute meaningfully on an international stage.
