Redefining Grit and Enduring Passion at Dell Technologies: Aliza Nathoo's Career JourneyAliza N. | Sr. Analyst, Training & Education Controls Team | India Originally Published: November 2, 2022
The journey of a thousand miles begins with just a step, and my first step was taken on July 7th, 2014. This was the day my memorable journey started with Dell Technologies, and the beginning of a new chapter. My professional integrity, business acumen and personal development has given me deep meaning and color in my life, both professionally and personally. After I started, I moved right from the entry level to a Sr. Analyst in a short amount of time. This brought many different opportunities from resolving customers’ inquiries, to creating and promoting content. It was a satisfying cycle around the company, and I was able to become more well-rounded directly as a new hire. As I progressed, I was able to get multiple promotions quickly which really highlights the culture of Dell and their belief in meritocracy. Dell Technologies really upholds work life balance, which makes completing my responsibilities so much easier than before. As a mother and a working professional, sometimes life can become hectic. However, thanks to Dell, I can balance both my duties in and outside of the workplace. I believe that Dell is definitely the best place to work, because they are employee centric and place their employees’ needs at the core of the company. I have taken advantage and made the best out of my time at Dell by joining an Employee Resource Group. I enrolled to Women in Action, where I’ve gained tips on parenting and balancing family with work. Being a part of this community has made my journey at Dell Technologies a lot easier. When Connected Workplace 2.0 was introduced, it was like the icing on the cake. This program gave employees the choice and flexibility to excel in our work regardless of where we are in the world. I was able to give more time to my children and be a part of their most important days. True time is the best gift and investment that you can give to your children as a parent, and Dell has allowed me to prioritize this. I am proud to be a part of this organization. The journey has become more flexible, free, and boundless. Thank you, Dell. To learn more about jobs at Dell, visit jobs.dell.com. |
