Preparation for intern and graduate applications
Being a part of the STEM Aspire Program, I was able to boost my self-confidence and secure a position as a graduate student. In addition to providing professional advice, the program connected me with a mentor who has over 20 years of experience in the field, as well as a buddy who is talented and in the early stages of her career. Throughout the program, I have gained skills and opportunities that will help me kickstart my career.

Initially, I had applied to receive advice and insight on my career path post graduation, but after finishing this program, I gained more. Having a female mentor and buddy made my experience more comfortable and improved my confidence in staying authentic. The program was definitely worth participating in during my final year of university and strengthened my female STEM community.
