Hi, I’m Divya Ganta, a Senior Engineer at Dell Technologies, specializing in Performance and Automation Engineering. My role is a blend of precision and innovation—writing automation code and capturing performance benchmarks that help ensure our products run at their absolute best. I’m driven by the challenge of optimizing systems and making technology more efficient, reliable, and user-friendly.

A Day in My Life
My day typically begins with reviewing the latest feature updates and identifying where performance metrics need to be captured. I write automation scripts that simulate real-world usage scenarios, helping us validate how our systems behave under different conditions. Collaboration is at the heart of what I do—I work closely with developers, QA teams, and product managers to ensure our benchmarks are accurate and actionable. By the end of the day, I’m analyzing results and sharing insights that guide product decisions and improvements. I’ve worked on projects that involve building scalable automation frameworks, integrating performance tests into CI/CD pipelines, and generating detailed reports that highlight system efficiency. Every project is an opportunity to push boundaries and deliver better outcomes for our users.
Tools That Power My Work
My toolkit includes Python, Selenium, Jenkins, JMeter, and Grafana, along with internal Dell tools for performance monitoring and reporting. These technologies help me automate complex workflows, visualize performance data, and ensure our systems meet high standards. AI has also become a powerful ally in my development process. I use it to accelerate and refine automation workflows—from generating boilerplate code to debugging scripts and optimizing test logic. It’s like having a second brain that helps me think through edge cases and sometimes even surprises me with smarter alternatives.

Culture That Fuels Innovation
What I love most about Dell is the collaborative and inclusive culture. There’s a strong emphasis on learning and growth, and everyone is encouraged to bring their ideas to the table. We support each other, celebrate wins together, and continuously strive to improve. It’s a place where your voice matters and your contributions are truly valued.
Beyond the Desk
Outside of work, I’m a passionate wildlife photographer with a deep love for nature. I’ve visited 29 tiger reserves across India, tracking and photographing these majestic creatures. Being in the wild teaches me patience, focus, and respect for life—qualities I carry into my professional world as well.
Words of Wisdom
To aspiring software engineers: stay curious and never stop learning. The tech world evolves rapidly, and adaptability is key. Build a strong foundation in coding and problem-solving, but don’t overlook soft skills like communication and teamwork. Most importantly, find joy in what you do—because passion is what fuels excellence.
