STEM Aspire
STEM Aspire is a mentoring program developed for female students in third level education, studying STEM subjects. It is a strategic diversity program created to address the gender gap in the IT industry by encouraging and empowering female students in higher education studying STEM subjects to complete their studies and find rewarding careers in the field. The objective is to encourage, empower, and connect female college students to not only complete their studies but also find rewarding careers in the field and ideally with Dell Technologies.
Just by sending in the application for the STEM Aspire program, I found the courage to also apply for an internship at Dell. This turned out to be an amazing opportunity that helps me boost my confidence. Thanks to the support of my mentor who guided me in looking at challenges from different perspectives. The technical workshops further enriched my skill set, providing me with valuable abilities that I continue to apply at work today.

ReStart Program
Dell’s Career ReStart Program offers a structured training program for people to reskill or transition back into the workforce. The goal of this program is to welcome participants into full-time, benefited positions to Dell after completion of training. We not only welcome professionals back to Dell after taking time off, but we also provide comprehensive workforce reentry programs that help them pick up where they left off through Dell Career ReStart, which offers professionals a smooth transition to working at Dell Technologies after leaving the workforce.
Dell's ReStart Program was my bridge back into the professional world. For the onset, it felt like stepping into a supportive classroom. Introductory events and coaching sessions eased our transition, and the warm welcome from colleagues dissolved our fears. To those considering a career change, I say, 'Embrace the unknown. Trust yourself, take that first step and let curiosity guide you. Along the way, you'll discover strengths you never knew you had and connect with fellow travelers. Dell isn't just a company; it's a community that propels you toward your goals.'
