In every challenge, there’s always an opportunity
I have been working with Dell Technologies in a partner role for many years and, to be honest, I never thought that one day I would join Dell as an official team member. I used to think that people who are able to work at this company must meet a high level of criteria, especially as a presales woman. When the opportunity came, I asked myself, “Can I do it, and how can I do it?”. The fear of failure occupied me; It was quite difficult to decide. Finally, between fear and great opportunity, I decided to choose opportunity to become a part of Dell. I believe facing the challenge is the best way to help me overcome my fears and grow in my career.

In my generation, technical roles are dominated by males. There are very few women that are interested in IT professions, so most of my colleagues are males. When I joined Dell, on one side, it seemed to have limitations in communication, but on the other side, I received strong support and encouragement from my team, mentor and leaders which have made my life at Dell a pleasant journey. |

Virtual onboarding was a completely different experience
After COVID-19, I started to get used to working remotely. It was the first time in my career that I worked from home. I never expected this and it was an amazing experience. I received my laptop a few days before my first day. Dell has made the virtual onboarding process so much easier by offering online support tools and I was able to get in touch with my colleagues around the world without any issues.

The flexible working conditions allowed me to work remotely and more efficiently. With that, I was able to save time on travelling to the office and spend more time for personal activities such as walking in the morning and quality time with my family.

Global Presales Women in Action
