I am the Data Science Practice Lead for our HR Process and Technology Organization at Dell Technologies. With nearly a decade of experience working at the intersections of strategy, data and organizational design, I’m passionate about helping people and teams explore new capabilities and enhance the value of their work. Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, I now reside in Rockville, Maryland – just a few metro train stops from my alma mater, Howard University. When not in front of a computer, I’m most likely enjoying live music, spending time in nature or exploring one of D.C.’s many museums or art galleries.
What is one fun fact about you?

In what ways has Black History Month influenced you personally?
I’ve been fortunate to have the celebration and acknowledgment of Black history as an integral part of my day-to-day life since my earliest childhood memories. From a career standpoint, celebrations of Black History Month have offered unique opportunities to bring together a variety of employees to delve into the innovations, stories and rich diversity of Black culture. Sometimes, it looked like curated safe spaces and fun-filled events. Other times, it was tough conversations and insightful panels. However, in each set of programming, I left feeling refreshed and affirmed.
Why is it crucial to preserve and honor Black history and heritage?
There’s value and empowerment in knowing history, including elements that are exciting and those that are uncomfortable to sit with. We must continue creating spaces to honor Black history and invest in what it will continue to become through our work, artistry, storytelling and more. The honoring and preservation of Black history and heritage enables us to, at minimum, be more aware. At its peak, it allows us to positively contribute to it.
