Introduction
I'm Jeniffer, and I'm from southern Brazil. I've been part of the Talent Acquisition team for over 12 years. Celebrating Christmas for my family is a big event that starts on Christmas Eve and ends only at Christmas lunch. In those days, my parents' home stays full of people, with my sister and her husband, my cousins, my husband and my daughter. We love to eat, and my brother-in-law makes an incredible barbecue! However, our main tradition is in the desserts, where each family brings a dessert to the celebration! Cooking is one of the things I enjoy a lot, so this is an opportunity to test my abilities! One of the desserts I love to cook is chocolate cream cake. This is very delicious because we cut large pieces of chocolate to add to the cream and filling.
The Story Behind the Dish
This recipe is very special for my family because it’s a moment for all of us, my husband, daughter and myself, to work together.

The Dish: Chocolate Cream Cake
|
|
Ingredients:
- 1L, milk
- 1 can, condensed milk
- 1 can, milk cream
- 6T, sugar
- 3T, cornstarch
- 200g, chocolate pieces
- 3 eggs
Instructions:
First, in a saucepan, combine the milk, three tablespoons of cornstarch, three egg yolks, and a can of condensed milk. Cook until the mixture thickens into a creamy consistency. Transfer it to a plate and allow it to cool. Once cooled, add half of the chocolate pieces, covering the entire cream. In a separate bowl, whip the egg whites until foamy. Gradually add the six tablespoons of sugar and the milk cream. Once well combined, cover the dish with the first cream and half of the chocolate. Finally, add the remaining chocolate pieces. Place it in the fridge until set, and it's ready. I sincerely hope you enjoy my recipe suggestion for your Christmas celebration!
