Are you a member of any Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)? Please share a bit about your experience and the impact you have made.
I am currently Brazil's Communication and Marketing Lead for the GenNext, one of the thirteen ERGs at Dell. GenNext is not just a channel for networking but also for developing new skills and improving my career. I participated in the third edition of the Innovation Program, a 6-month program offered by GenNext that provides participants with knowledge that they can apply to different areas of Dell, such as design thinking methodology, creativity, user experience, and storytelling. At the end of the program, we developed a prototype as a team to solve a real Dell problem. This opportunity, which takes time and dedication, is one of several exciting ways that Dell provides opportunities to develop your career, innovate, and inspire team member growth. Besides that, I contribute to the Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Committee in the Attraction Pillar, where I am part of a group that acts and plans events to increase the awareness of our Diversity and Inclusion projects and attract diverse talents to Dell.

What are the benefits of participating in GenNext?
The most fantastic thing about participating in the ERGs is team member influence and advocacy. Dell encourages career development through the ERGs, but it is up to team members to shape their career paths. I am creating my path by attending ERG sessions, and I have no doubt that I grew in my career through what I have learned and developed in ERGs. As part of the GenNext Core Team, I developed skills such as teamwork, leadership, presentation, innovation, and creativity, among other items that I don't always develop in my current roles.

Are there any programs or resources you've taken advantage of at Dell to better your mental health, wellness, or mindfulness?
I joined Dell during the pandemic and to stay healthy in the face of isolation, I committed to exercising. I used a Dell resource called Wellbeats daily for several months. This is an excellent resource for fitness, meditation, and nutrition tips for all families. I am also part of the Dell Runners community, a group of people focused on quality of life and well-being through the practice of sports. I am always impressed with how a group of people gathered has the power to encourage, engage, and motivate us to reach our goals. Both programs align with Dell's goal to promote a healthy work-life balance, something I thoroughly appreciate.
