As someone who manages hundreds of assets and people, how do you overcome challenges in your role?

Maybe it’s the former reporter in me, but I like to go straight to the source and gather all the facts to get to a solution quickly… I’m a BIG fan of picking up the phone and talking through situations to understand ALL sides of the challenge. 

What is one word you would use to describe Dell?

AMAZING PEOPLE!! (Sorry, that’s technically 2 words 😉) but it really is about the smart and talented people that go above and beyond for our customers and are incredible to work with.

What is one skill someone at a leadership level like yours should have?

Vision and leadership skills that are clear and kind.

What skill have you learned from a hobby that you’ve transferred to work? 

I LOVE hosting parties and used to make my own handmade party supplies. That hobby turned into an Etsy store a long time ago and that experience really helped me experience the full range of running a business. Even though it was a SUPER small/micro/side hustle, it gave me a bigger perspective into what it takes to focus on all aspects of a company – from monetizing your business, making a profit and taking care of customers to developing quality products and of course, having a strong marketing plan and performance.
