These are a few words that come to mind when I think of "innovation."

To me, innovation is adding or creating value to something by being creative. It can be by taking something that already exists and improving it or having a new idea to solve a problem and/or deliver a solution.

BRINGING INNOVATION TO LIFE IN MY ROLE

I work in the Employer Brand Marketing team, creating strategies to attract top talents to Dell Technologies in Latin America (LATAM). I bring innovation to life in my role by challenging myself to think outside the box. It can be related to our marketing campaigns and trying new media channels and messaging – recently, we worked for the first time with one of the top podcasts in Brazil to position Dell as a great place to work for Tech talent. It was a disruptive campaign for employer branding, being recognized as innovative by important employer brand marketing leaders from Brazil. 

Also, I always try to review processes in place and ask myself "why" I'm doing it and how we can do it more efficiently. For example, when I started in this role, I noticed we used to have campaigns in the local language in LATAM, but when candidates visited our website, the positions were posted in English. I led a project to have the job descriptions in the local language, so candidates would feel we were speaking their language and we, as a company, could get better SEO results.
