Embracing Diversity and Welcoming New Ideas: Qartika's Experience with Team Culture at Dell Technologies

Hi, my name is Qartika Eslyna. I’ve been with Dell Technologies for 4 years now and I currently work on the ISG South Asia Technical Support Team. Dell has been a great place to work, and the environment has made it extremely easy for me to balance my work life while prioritizing my children. Work life balance is something that's super important to me, and Dell Technologies respects this by allowing flexibility. After the unfortunate global pandemic, Dell transitioned into a hybrid workplace and offered remote work options. Fortunately, this has allowed me to spend more quality time with family. 

As part of the ISG South Asia Tech Support team, I work with a wide range of diverse individuals. I love that even though we’re from different backgrounds and hold different leadership levels, everyone treats each other with respect. The environment during team meetings makes me much more open to share and my input is always acknowledged. Dell creates a culture where everyone can contribute to projects and can support each other to achieve a common goal. We pride ourselves on diversity and inclusion, that way our team members feel encouraged to bring new ideas and broader perspectives to the table.

I also have the opportunity to bond with my team members through internal activities and team building exercises, this allows us to build strong connections which generates better results. Some of our recent activities include: a potluck where we brought different foods and recipes from our various cultures, monthly birthday parties, and even a bowling competition.  

I enjoy working at Dell Technologies because we can express our thoughts freely and share ideas amongst each other. I feel respected, valued, and that my different culture and perspectives are welcomed. Over the years my team has become like one big family, and I could not be more grateful to I am grateful to work with such incredible people.
