Shaping Strength and Resilience

Every stage of my life has presented challenges whether it was undergoing multiple surgeries, pursuing education, or finding a job. I've never retreated from these challenges. During my school days, some people believed that only secondary education was attainable for me, but I disagreed with this notion. I was determined to prove them wrong.

With perseverance, I not only completed my Master's in Computer Applications (MCA), but I did so with distinction, earning recognition as the Best Outgoing Student.

Joining Dell has personally helped me in building my resilience because of the positive work environment as well as the support provided by my team members not only during my initial years but even today through difficult times.

Apart from my studies, I have also received awards like Award by VDI-AIMS, Karnataka Book of Record, The Unsung Hero Award by Rotary Bangalore Ability, Young Achiever Award by KN Foundation Bangalore, Achiever Award from multiple organizations as well as invitations as a Motivational Speaker at various places which includes Dell. These experiences have added to my sense of achievement, building my resilience.

These achievements were not just personal victories but also a testament to my resilience.

My Experience in True Ability Employee Resource Group (ERG)

I consider myself truly fortunate to be a part of Dell Technologies, where I've had the privilege of working with the True Ability Employee Resource Group (ERG). This platform has proven to be an invaluable avenue for promoting inclusion, spreading awareness, and creating job opportunities.

I am currently serving as a core member of True Ability, and I am actively involved in managing the 'Tales of Inspiration' project. This initiative embodies our commitment to fostering a more inclusive and diverse workplace. It's both a source of personal pride and a reminder of the positive impact we can have when we work together towards a common goal.

Along with this, I also participated in events conducted by Women in Action ERG.

Notable True Ability Events

I find immense joy in participating in various events hosted by True Ability, particularly dance competitions. In these gatherings, the concept of inclusion takes center stage and holds significant meaning. I cherish the opportunity to not only express myself through dance but also to shed light on the hidden talents that exist within each of us. These events go beyond mere competitions; they become platforms for celebrating diversity and showcasing the richness of human abilities. Personally, I take great delight in being part of such gatherings, where the spirit of inclusion truly shines, and where we can collectively appreciate the beauty of our shared talents. I share my activities in social media with a page name “RamithaInspires” to inspire world.
