My time with Dell Technologies in Sydney, Australia has been very different from any other working experiences I have had, but nothing short of rewarding and invaluable. I am a full-time, final year university student completing my Bachelor of Business Administration and have been an intern for the ANZ/SG Talent Acquisition (TA) team since October 2021.
When I started as an intern, I was being trained by the Candidate Experience Team helping with offers, interviews, Workday, and anything that helped the recruiters. After only six months, I was given my own requisitions and began recruiting. During my short time at Dell, I have been part of so much more than I ever imagined such as co-running the Millennium Women Leadership Accelerator Programs, co-running the first Australian STEM Aspire mentorship program, planning university relations webinars, becoming a steering committee member for the Employee Resource Group: Women in Action, and appearing in several global and national LinkedIn campaigns- some of which were even posted by the official Dell Technologies account with over five million followers!
No matter how junior I am, my impact is seen and felt through all that I do, and my amazing team never minimizes that or makes me feel like I am any less valuable than the next person. I cannot recommend starting your career at Dell enough, whether it be as an intern or graduate, or even just participating in one of our development programs like STEM Aspire. Here’s to what my future at Dell Technologies holds! To learn more about internships and life at Dell, please visit internships and our stories. |
