My Career Journey
My Dell story began on January 2, 2012, with a dramatic 100-minute interview where a director rigorously assessed my fit for managing Dell’s Onsite Service Providers in India, based in Bangalore. He took a bold chance on my global experience—and 13 years later, that bet has undoubtedly paid off. From Consultant in Gurgaon to Director of Technical Support in Penang, Malaysia, leading multilingual teams across South Asia, every role has taught me one invaluable lesson: growth thrives outside of comfort zones.

My Day-to-Day
I sit in what many call "the hot seat": leading a multilingual team that supports 33 countries 24/7, managing KPIs, and resolving critical issues escalated by Sales and other Support teams. No two days are the same—each interaction with customers, vendors, or cross-functional teams brings new challenges and lessons. Amid this chaos, I’ve found connection and growth. My role has expanded to chairing Dell Penang’s Cafeteria Committee (as an Indian vegan in Malaysia, it doesn’t get more exciting than that!) and leading Dell’s Mosaic Community, both in Malaysia and as the Global Mosaic Community Pillar Lead. This journey proves one thing: when you serve people, opportunities multiply.

I am a results-driven leader with a proven track record in operations and strategic execution, with a background spanning manufacturing, travel, telecom, FMCG, and logistics before joining Dell in 2012. I thrive in pioneering roles—navigating uncharted territories, driving transformation, and delivering value where it matters most.
Life Outside of Work
Outside of work, I lead a balanced and purposeful life. I enjoy exploring offbeat travel destinations, experimenting with new cuisines in my kitchen, and cycling to work—even through Penang’s tropical weather, and yes, while wearing a tie.
Mentoring and coaching others has become a deeply rewarding part of my daily routine, allowing me to share my experiences and help others grow.
Family is central to my life. My small but close-knit family—my wife and mother—keeps me grounded, especially after the loss of my father several years ago. Music also plays an important role in my life, inspiring both creativity and focus, whether I’m strategizing at work or cycling to the office.
As an Aquarian, I share company with visionaries like Bob Marley and Cristiano Ronaldo, and I embrace traits common to the sign—enthusiasm, wit, independence, and creativity. I’m a passionate sports enthusiast (though baseball and golf aren’t my cup of tea) with a deep appreciation for music ranging from Indian classical to Western pop. I also have a background in athletics, having competed at school and university levels in events such as the 100m, 3000m, and 4x100m relay.
